Since August 1, 2018, real estate agents and residential property managers are legally required to complete continuing education. This means you must complete at least 20 hours of continuing education within three years. This requirement also applies to employees of a real estate company if they perform licensable activities.
Our webinars meet this need: MaBV webinars are explicitly marked.
Have you attended a MaBV-certified webinar? Great, you will receive proof of the hours completed three days after the webinar via email. Look for the email with the webinar title in the subject line and the note “Your Certificate.” Check the attachment – that’s where you’ll find it.
We Answer the Most Frequently Asked Questions About Our Webinars
We offer both free and paid webinars. The cost varies depending on the webinar and is clearly indicated
To receive a certificate, participation in the webinar is required. After the webinar, we will send you a knowledge assessment via email. You should complete this assessment within three working days after the webinar date – then we will send you the certificate.
Note: MaBV certification is tied to the individual. If multiple people are attending a webinar and each person needs a continuing education certificate, each person must register for the event separately with their own email address. Otherwise, only the person who registered with their email address will receive the certificate.
eventbrite will send you an email with a button labeled “View Event.” Clicking this will take you to a page with a “Join Now” button. This will open the webinar room where you can enter your details and join.
Three hours after the webinar ends, you will receive an email with the knowledge assessment. This email is automatically sent to all participants who were logged in during the webinar. The sender will be “onOffice Team.”
In this email, you will find links to the video recording and the knowledge assessment. You have three working days to complete it.
Note: Since the email is automatically sent, we cannot manually resend the knowledge assessment.
Check all your email folders, especially your spam and trash folders. Ensure that no other employee with access to the inbox has accidentally deleted or moved the email.
Note: If you often do not receive our emails, please reach out to your email provider to investigate the email’s destination. Regrettably, we are unable to resend the subsequent email.
Unfortunately, we cannot issue a continuing education certificate if you missed the webinar, as we are also required to provide proof of certified hours during inspections by regulatory authorities. However, upon request, we are happy to send you the video recording of the webinar.
